Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. L’Heureux manages various problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. He practices a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to jaw surgery.
Our practice treats patients of all ages, is Handicapped Accessible, and can accommodate elderly or disabled patients as well.
Anesthesia is an important part of our practice. Dr. L’Heureux is well trained in providing several methods of anesthesia including Nitrous Oxide, IV Sedation, and outpatient General Anesthesia. This includes the administration of General Anesthesia/Deep Sedation, IV Sedation, and oral conscious sedation.
Surgical staff
All of our staff are courteous and well-informed. The administrative staff is all well-versed in health and insurance policies as well as medical and dental billing policies and procedures. Our clinical staff is trained in assisting with intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. We staff the clinical area with registered nurses and experienced surgical assistants who collectively have many years of expertise in caring for patients in a surgical environment and assisting with oral surgical procedures.
