Background Information

Welcome to Mid-Maine Oral Surgery. Our practice is comprised of caring and dedicated staff who are committed to providing the highest quality patient care and services possible. Please let our staff know your needs. Our goal is to serve our patients and their referring doctors to their complete satisfaction.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. L’Heureux and Dr. Traub manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. They practice a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to jaw surgery.

Our practice treats patients of all ages, is Handicapped Accessible, and can accommodate elderly or disabled patients as well.

Anesthesia is an important part of our practice. Drs. L’Heureux and Traub are well trained in providing several methods of anesthesia including Nitrous Oxide, IV Sedation, and outpatient General Anesthesia. This includes the administration of General Anesthesia/Deep Sedation, IV Sedation, and oral conscious sedation.
